On Sunday the 29th July 2018 I will be taking part in the Prudential RideLondon along side my good (albeit somewhat recently neglected) friend Kim. We’re both riding for our own and very personal reasons to support DiabetesUK and I’m here to share mine…
Asmost of you will know I am a keen cyclist, and after a year of ilness and diabetes related complication forcing me off the bike I have I decided I wanted to ride the 2018 RideLondon 46mile event in order to raise money for Diabetes UK. I thought what better way of raising some money for charity than me pledging to work hard to overcome these complications in order to ride the route. A year ago this would have been no problem, but it now seems like one of the hardest challenges in my life so far. You can read the far more detailed story about this by visiting the “Henry’s Story” page at diabeat-this.com
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website and thank you for those of you who have either supported me emotionally or physically through this time, and to those helping me to support diabetes UK
