Following my 2 year recovery back to cycling following on from RideLondon 2018… this year on Sunday the 4th August 2019 I will be tacking the 100mile route of the Prudential RideLondon – Surrey !

I will be taking part in the 100 mile event as opposed to the 46 miles last year as my fitness has improved and I want to challenge myself to continue my recovery… I don’t want this to be easy, it needs to push me !

This year I am hoping for good weather, or to pack wet weather gear (which I forgot last year haha) but if it pours down, it pours down… It will just add to the challenge.

I’m riding for our own and very personal reasons to support JDRF and DIABETES UK and I hope you will read about my story by clicking here…

It’s a slow road to recovery, and this will be on my 30month milestone from release of hospital following my ruptured oesophagus !

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website and thank you for those of you who have either supported me emotionally or physically through this time, and to those helping me to support JDRF and Diabetes UK

Here are some photos from the 2018 46 mile route
